I’m in the middle of putting together the Autumn 2012 collection, and I have decided that beads are my favourite thing to add to a garment. Whether they are metallic chic – or multi coloured ethnic flavoured, I just can’t get enough. All the crazy little graphic ideas I have in my head can turn into an amazing piece of bead work… so watch out my Toi et Moi amis… I’m going a bit bead crazy.

I used to wear earrings all of the time. I have been through all sorts of crazy fads… big dangly earrings, kooky earrings, glam earrings. I have even not that long ago, been known to painstakingly choose two different earrings to wear at the same time. Then I decided it was time to calm down. My mum gave me some diamond studs – and so the earring fetish ended. Until now. I just stumbled across ‘French Toast’. And so here I am, ready to hand over my credit card details to buy these puppies…and my earring fetish will again take on a life of it’s own. But what a way to kick start the ear fashion revival – don’t you agree?
