We say you stumble on this type of person once in a blue moon, and when you do it’s nothing short of magic. Zanita has slowly but surely cemented herself in the international blogging hall of fame with her fashion blog zanitazanita.blogspot.com, and as we got to know her we knew that a collaboration with Toi et Moi was imminent.

So the story goes like this.

Monday 12th April 2010
(phone makes ringing sound)

Zanita: Hello Zanita speaking
Toi: Hi lovely! hey your latest blog entry with the toi et moi silver blazer was amazing. We posted a blog entry on our website about it…and we got thinking. How about a collaboration for our 2nd Summer collection?
Zanita: Ohhh sounds exciting. What are you thinking?
Toi: So, we give you the whole collection and you take a week or so to shoot it. Style it up how you want, shoot it where you want. Only instruction is you need to shoot it and star in the pics. Possible?
Zanita: I WOULD LOVE TO!
Toi: Ok so we’ll send through the details on email today. Can’t wait…

And the rest as they say is history!

I have a friend in Paris that has just graduated from student and assistant photographer to creative extraordinaire that is beginning to shoot some amazing editorial and lifestyle shots. Her name is Victoire LeTarnec and her photos are très belle. These snaps of Paris are so inspiring, if I wasn’t so busy I would be on a plane to Paris tomorrow.
